“Best of 2016,” as filmed by fans.
Yes, there will inevitably be some spectators spectating badly.

We need 1000% more of this in North America.
Rally racing is my absolute favorite racing to watch... and participate in, I’m sure, were I ever given the opportunity.

While I appreciate racing in general, WRC drivers have a unique level of respect in my books. Don’t get me wrong, I’d shit myself in any high-level race series, but the fact that in WRC a mistake not only endangers yourself but also spectators that are metres away (sometimes even less) from the racing line, it just seems like a whole other level of racing.
My only questions for 2017: How’s Toyota looking? How’s Hyundai looking? Is tuning into race weekends only going to be a formality as we watch Ogier get another title? I’m quite excited for the new season, enough that I’ll probably need a WRC+ subscription.

Ogier is in a new car, one that wasn’t built around him, and will have very little time to test before the season starts. The Hyundai looks to be good and has three drivers who can compete for wins and possibly the title. Citroen has a good car and Kris Meeke, who knows this season is his best shot. Toyota is a mystery, honestly most don’t expect them to start winning until the second half of the season, but the car is looking faster now that they have Latvala. Plus the new regulations are practically Group B for the 21st century. This is the season to watch

I don’t think I could be any more excited for WRC 2017 than I already am. Ooooooh boy.
